In May 2022, the EPA announced Atlanta as the recipient of $3.9 million in RLF grant funding to support the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfield sites. Those funds will be awarded at the beginning of October, supporting the City’s plans to improve upon some of Atlanta’s most blighted areas. GBA is honored to present our Fall 2022 event featuring:

• Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, who will share insights into the City’s plans on equitable development,

• Atlanta City Planning Department Assistant Director Jessica Lavandier, who will provide information on the City’s Brownfield program – including how to participate in its Brownfields Assessment Grant and Revolving Loan Fund,

• Updates on the Chattahoochee Brick Company site,

• Updates from Groundwork Atlanta

• EPA Updates, and

• Networking with industry leaders.
