Join Groundwork Atlanta and the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Resilience to celebrate the launch of the Aglanta Grows A Lot program, which will provide opportunities for local community members to establish farms and gardens on Georgia Power transmission line corridors and underutilized City of Atlanta properties. To learn more about this new program, please visit the Aglanta website.

This event will include a free lunch (donations to Groundwork Atlanta, a 501c3 non-profit, are always welcome), an introduction to the Aglanta Grows A Lot program, and brief remarks from program partners. Participants will have a chance to learn about the program and the urban farms and gardens application process, including information on the Riverside Farm at Spink Street (pictured above) through an open house and optional site visit.

The Aglanta Grows A Lot Program Launch Event and Riverside Farm Open House is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is requested. We look forward to seeing you there!
